PRONUNCIATION December 4, 2006
~~~ Two American tourists were walking through Manila. As they were approaching Makati, they started arguing about the pronunciation of the town. One tourist says, “Mekheyti”, the other tourist says, “Makhayti”……They argued back and forth until they stopped for lunch. As they were eating at a fast food restaurant, Erap passed infront of them and one tourist stopped him, “Excuse me , sir, could you please settle an argument for us? Would you please pronounce where we are…very slowly?…….Erap leaned over and prononced it slowly, “Jooo-li-beee” ~~~
